Online
research resource
Working in collaboration with the University of Huddersfield and Anthropo,
Lumen are in the process of developing a dynamic website which exists
somewhere between a resource, an archive and a portal.
The website will be a form of online publishing featuring text transcriptions
and video/sound clips of all the seminars and discussions which took
place during Evolution in 2001—3 and associated research including
interviews with artists and curators.
The website will feature a diverse a range of search options which
will allow users of the site to navigate the information depending
on their personal or institutional research domains and interests
thus avoiding the construction of a linear narrative. This will give
the potential for information to be dynamically clustered and re-associated
in a variety of formations based on the users personalised search
criteria.
The system will be extensible and continually updated as we conduct
more research for Evolution and additional aspects of our artistic
programme.
