2
day Super 8 film workshop In collaboration with no.w.here Assembly Rooms in the Grand Theatre | 4 - 5 April | 10am-5pm each day | Places available by application only, see bottom of page for details | £45/35 Since its launch in the mid-60s, Super-8 has been adopted by artists as a comparatively cheap, flexible and less intimidating alternative to professional film gauges. Its intimacy and accessibility are still perfectly suited to personal and individual experimentation and expression. This intensive two-day hands on workshop will guide you through the Super-8 medium; covering camera use, film stocks and hand processing. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot, develop and screen their own film. French artist Rose Lowder will join staff from no.w.here and discuss her filmmaking practice that involves rigorous and precise frame-by-frame shooting. |
