Evolution 2006 
               
              Lumen present Evolution 2006, their fifth series of events, screenings 
              and performances exploring avant-garde approaches to film, video 
              and sound. 
               
              Featuring expanded cinema performances by Jürgen Reble and 
              Thomas Köner, Guy Sherwin and Tony Conrad. Special events and 
              screenings with Michael Snow and Rose Lowder. Screenings of new 
              artists film and video from around the world. Workshops on video 
              synthesis and Super 8 filmmaking with LoVid and no.w.here. New installations 
              by Karen Mirza and Brad Butler and Michael Snow.
