Voiliers et Coquelicots, Rose Lowder, film still
Rose Lowder: Time frames
Leeds City Art Gallery (The Silver Gallery) | 7.30 - 9.30pm (with break)

Composing her films in-camera using precise frame-by-frame structures and scores, French filmmaker Rose Lowder creates magnificent interwoven tapestries of time and space along the filmstrip. Almost always exploring the environments that surround her, Lowder's precise photographic methods allow the real world to blossom on screen with perceptual beauty. The evening will feature a selection of her films from the last 30 years, and new works including the latest section of her ongoing Bouquets series. Lowder will introduce the screening and talk about her practice. Supported by Institut Francais.
