Ten Years Alive on the Infinite Plain, Tony Conrad

Bringing together US artist Tony Conrad’s structural approach to film, and minimalist approach to music, Ten Years Alive on the Infinite Plain is a durational performance for amplified strings, within a film loop environment. Three musicians will join Conrad to perform a slow and gradual composition of shifting tones whilst equivalent visual transformations unfold in the bands of light thrown from four film projectors.
