Lumen has commissioned 11 artists and film-makers from the region to create a new series of visually stunning HD shorts, welcoming contributions from all creative disciplines.

The Composure project encourages a focus on considered shot composition, moving the emphasis of creating new work away from a growing reliance on post-production techniques.  In order to achieve this, each artist was restricted to a single, locked-off shot, with a running time of between 2 and 3 minutes.

After the premiere at Evolution 2008, the Composure package will be touring the UK later in the year (supported by Screen Yorkshire).
