Lumen is working with artists and film-makers in the region to create a new series of visually stunning short films, using the organisation's brand new HD equipment. There is no set theme, in order to encourage contributions from all creative disciplines.

The aim of the project is to encourage a focus on considered shot composition, moving the emphasis of creating new work away from a growing reliance on post-production techniques. In order to achieve this, each film will be a single, locked-off shot, with a running time of between 2 and 3 minutes.

Below is a list of the Composure artists:

Steven Anderson
James Brown
Geoff Clout
Christopher Hall and Alexander Kelly
Esther Johnson
Sean Kaye and Jenny West
Chris Lillywhite
James Shilton
Peter Spence
Louise K. Wilson
Katy Woods
